This residential dining extension embodies our practice’s core philosophy, utilizing our five conditions—Structure, Growth, Flow, Energy, and Ground—as its underlying spatial logic. An expressive radial timber roof and tactile floor define its Structure and Ground. Sweeping curved glazing creates a seamless Flow, softening the architectural threshold to invite the garden’s natural Growth inward, a connection echoed by organic oak joinery. Above, a central skylight and expansive windows capture dynamic natural light, animating the room with vital Energy. Prioritizing proportion, materiality, and movement, this contemporary intervention responds sensitively to its context, forming a meaningful, enduring setting for daily human connection.
